PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (September 28)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that Typhoon Mindulle’s trough would bring cloudy to bring cloudy to rainy conditions over some parts of the country.
On Tuesday (September 28, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Typhoon Mindulle would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that Typhoon Mindulle has been last spotted 1,495 km east of extreme northern Luzon. It is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility on Tuesday evening. It has maximum sustained winds of 155 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 190 kph.
The weather system could not directly affect the country’s weather condition, according to Pagasa weather specialist Ariel Rojas.
“Walang direktang epekto ang bagyo sa panahon sa bansa, pero malawak ang kanyang wind field, so yung kanyang trough o extension ay umaabot sa Bicol at Eastern Visayas,” Rojas said.
Mindulle would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.
The typhoon and localized thunderstorms would also bring similar weather condition over entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro. Metro Manila and the remaining of the country would have the same weather condition.
“Halos walang makakapal na kaulapan dito, generally fair and warm conditions ang mararanasan ngayong araw sa buong bansa except for isolated thunderstorms lalo na sa hapon at sa gabi,” Rojas added.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Palawan, rest of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather agency.
