This is what Ely Buendia said when asked about Eraserheads reunion
Singer-songwriter Ely Buendia was asked by a netizen if there is a possibility that the Eraserheads reunion will happen and here is what he replied.
The former frontman of the iconic 90s band held a question-and-answer session on Twitter. He answered questions about their songs, his influences, and anything about music.
One of the E-heads fans asked if the time will come that the members of the band will have their reunion. Ely Buendia answered Twitter user @jaydemps with, “Pag tumakbo si Leni.”
In another tweet, the singer-songwriter replied to the same netizen with a different answer. “Pag nag reunion 4 of spades,” Ely said referring to a Filipino rock band.
Later on, the former H-heads vocalist posted a disclaimer saying that his political conviction does not mean that other formers of the band also have the same opinion.
“DISCLAIMER: MY POLITICAL OPINIONS ARE MY OWN AND I DO NOT REPRESENT THE VIEWS OF THE ERASERHEADS’ MEMBERS,” he posted.
When another asked about his band Pupil, he said that it is on indefinite hiatus. On the other hand, based on his reply to a netizen, he is set to have a show in America in November.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Ely went controversial when he said that he and the members of Eraserheads were never friends, unlike other Pinoy bands. This received criticisms online but he stressed that hate should not be addressed to him as he was just telling the truth when he was asked about it.
E-heads former member Raymund Marasigan echoed this statement of Ely Buendia. The former said that they would just meet to play music but they did not hang out outside of their gigs.
