Here’s Ariella Arida’s Top 3 Bets For Miss Universe PH 2021
ARIELLA ARIDA – Beauty queen-turned-actress Ariella AridaAriella Arida revealed her top 3 bets for the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2021 on September 30.
After rescheduling the events of the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in the country, the organization announced that the much-anticipated finals will take place on Sept. 30 at the Henann Resort Convention Center in Panglao, Bohol.
Pageant fans can still continue voting for their MUP 2021 bets until Sept. 29 at Lazada. The voting period has been extended from its original Sept. 24 deadline. The delegate with the most votes will secure a spot in the Top 16.
Recently, Miss Universe 3rd Runner-up Ariella Arida revealed her top 3 bets for Miss Universe Philippines 2021. In an interview with PUSH, she said the representatives of Mandaluyong, Taguig, and Cebu Province were her top 3 picks.
“I love this girl from Mandaluyong – Maria Corazon Abalos. Sobrang Pilipina-looking niya. I love her beauty kasi, eh, Pinay na Pinay,” she said.
Abalos is a 23-year-old beauty queen representing Mandaluyong. She’s the daughter of Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) chairman Benhur Abalos. She graduated International Studies at De La Salle University.
Ariella Arida said Katrina Dimaranan also has what it takes to be the country’s bet for the Miss Universe 2021 pageant this December. She said, “my take lang kasi if tuloy yung Miss Universe this December hopefully they would send someone na reding-ready na lumaban kasi parang it’s gonna be like two- or three-months preparation na lang.”
Dimaranan is a Fil-Am actress, tv personality, model, and beauty pageant titleholder. The 28-year-old beauty was appointed as Miss Supranational USA in 2018. She also became the USA’s rep for Miss Supranational 2018.
Ariella Arida also named Cebu Province’s representative Steffi Rose Aberasturi as one of her faves. She said, “Naggu-grow kasi siya sa akin. I love her karisma, she’s always smiling and you can feel the confidence.”
The beauty queen-turned-actress said she’s impressed with this year’s batch of candidates because they continue to fight for their dream to become a beauty queen and endure all the challenges and burdens of COVID-19.
“I would always tell na sana yung mga supporters will also be kind to these girls, our aspiring queens. Kasi hindi ganun kadali yung pinagdadaanan nila physically, mentally and emotionally,” she said.
