Kris Aquino shared a post about his MUP 2021 candidate
Actress-host Kris Aquino showed her full support for this particular candidate in the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 pageant.
The pageant season continues amid the pandemic and although the dynamic of the beauty contest changed, still pageant enthusiasts are still eager to show support for their favorite candidate.
Even celebrities like Kris have chosen someone to support in the second edition of the MUP competition. In her recent post on her Instagram account, the Queen of all Media said that she doesn’t do this for just anybody.
However, since the contestant’s full name is Maria Corazon, the same name that her mother has, Kris Aquino fondly talked about this pageant contestant. She is Maria Corazon or Corrine Abalos from Mandaluyong.
Kris also mentioned that the family of Corrine has a close relationship with her family even before the EDSA revolution. “Plus her grandparents share the same initials as my dad (BSA) and my mom (CCA), then obviously alam nyo na CORINNE ABALOS has my full support for Ms Universe Philippines,” the actress-host said.
She also shared the ways how to vote for Corrine that will help her in her journey to the crown. Kris stressed that she has never been afraid to make her choices known. However, she entertains the idea that other people will disagree with her.
On the other hand, she stressed that Corrine is a worthy candidate and an intellectual woman. “Educated in Poveda and she graduated from DLSU in 2019 with a degree in AB International Studies Major in European Studies. Definitely, hindi tayo mapapahiya sa Q&A,” Kris Aquino said.
Several netizens who commented on this post of the actress-host agreed with her and said that they will vote for Corrine. There were netizens who commented that the MUP candidate from Mandaluyong looks like Miriam Quiambao or Pia Wurtzbach who also represented the Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant.
