Ejay Falcon Confirms He’s Running for Vice Governor of Oriental Mindoro
EJAY FALCON – Kapamilya actor Ejay Falcon just confirmed he’s running for vice governor of Oriental Mindoro in the upcoming elections.
Celebrities have a unique advantage in politics. Most of them win a political campaign because they are already known.
They use their superstar status to jump-start their political careers. Among the celebrities who entered the world of politics include Tito Sotto, Vilma Santos, Manny Pacquiao, Bong Revilla, and Alfred Vargas.
Filipino-French actor Ejay Falcon was recently rumored to run in the coming 2022 elections. In a previous article, recent photos of the actor showed that he is already visiting remote areas in his home province, Oriental Mindoro. He was with Gov. Humerlito Dolor.
In Dolor’s FB post, the Kapamilya actor was seen asking for support from the people there. hhe said, “Iyong sigaw at excitement ninyo, sana po madala natin ‘yan pagdating ng tamang panahon, ang suporta ninyo. Kayo pong lahat dito, sana po suportahan niyo kami. Kaya po kami nandito ngayon, nagkakaisa, at nagpapakilala po sa inyo.”
After weeks of speculation, the actor confirmed he’s running for Vice Governor of his province in the upcoming elections.

Based on a report from ANS-CBN, Ejay Falcon said he will be the running mate of Gov. Dolor for the 2022 polls. He is hoping to receive the same support he received from his province mates when he competed in Pinoy Big Brother in 2008.
“Ako po ay tinawag ng kabutihan. At ang kabutihan na yun ay ang maglingkod sa ating bayan at hindi mo matatanggihan na yun… ako po ay papasok sa larangan ng pulitika at pagiging public servant…”
“Sana ay suportahan n’yo rin ako sa ganitong klase ng larangan. Sinuportahan nila ako bilang isang aktor at PBB winner. Sana po ay suportahan din nila ako,” he added.
Ejay Falcon started his career in the showbiz industry through ABS-CBN’s reality show Pinoy Big Brother in 2008. A lot has changed for the hunky actor since he was declared the winner of the said reality show 13 years ago.
From the strong lineup of housemates, he bested “Kadenang Ginto” actress Beauty Gonzalez, “Just a Stranger’s” star Josef Elizalde, and Kapamilya host Robi Domingo. After his PBB stint, he was given various projects under the Kapamilya network’s management. He starred in hit tv series such as ‘Wildflower,’ ‘Pasion de Amor,’ ‘Sandugo,’ and ‘The Blood Sisters.’
