Loyal Customer Leaves Tear-Jerking Note After Having His Last Jollibee Meal as Doctor Gave Him 3 Months to Live
A loyal customer writes a tear-jerking note after having his last Jollibee meal as the doctor gave him three months to live.
A Facebook user named Mechelle Centurias has shared the photos of a tear-jerking note left by one of their customers at the back of its receipt. The post goes viral and break the hearts of the online community.
Centurias, who is working as a manager of Jollibee Countrymall branch in Cebu City narrated that one of their customers left a note at the receipt after eating silently inside the fast-food chain.
Initially, the manager thought that it was a negative feedback from a dissatisfied customer after the crew gave it to her. She decided to read it and was moved by the guest’s different “Thank you” message.
The loyal customer expressed his gratitude towards Jollibee for giving him delicious meals for 32 years. He wrote that it would be his last Jollibee meal before his Chemotherapy for stage 4 cancer.
The customer revealed that the doctor gave him three months to live because of his current health condition.
The store manager tried to look for the customer in the dining area but the crew told her that he just left. She just wanted to give some words of gratitude and encouragement but she failed to do so.
Mechelle and her fellow employees would pray for the unidentified customer’s recovery, so he could return to Jollibee.

“I was told that feedback is a gift. But this one is a totally different gift. It hits me to the core.
I couldn’t hold my tears when I read this. One of our guests at Jollibee left this note at the back of his receipt. After silently eating at one corner of the store, he cleaned up his table, brought the tray at the claim area and left. Our dining crew saw the note written on his receipt and gave it to me. I thought it was a feedback from a dissatisfied customer but it wasn’t. It was a different “thank you” message from someone who had his last Jollibee meal before his Chemotherapy for stage 4 cancer. He was sharing that his doctor gave him 3 months to live.
With a heavy heart, I immediately took the chance to look for the customer at the dining area but I was told he just left. I lost the chance of speaking to him and to give him thanks and encouragement.
To this “brave someone” who just prepared himself for a big fight, we pray for your recovery. The 3 months your doctor gave you can be 3 years or 3 decades or longer. God gives miracles. We just have to believe and strengthen our faith.
I hope we’ve served you better and made you happy when you’re at Jollibee. Welabyu
