Cavite Minor Dies After Being Shot by Aunt’s Partner Due to Internet Connection

IMUS, CAVITE – A minor after being shot by the partner of his aunt allegedly due to the interrupted internet connection.

A shooting incident occurred in a residence in Imus, Cavite, according to a GMA News report, and a 12-year-old boy died on the spot. The minor victim is said to have been shot in the chest by his aunt’s companion.

According to the investigation, the suspect, Reynaldo Managan, and his partner, the victim’s aunt, had a money dispute on Friday night. After that, the suspect is said to have watched TV, however, he discovered that his internet signal had gone off.

When he checked the router after leaving the room, he discovered that the internet connection cable from their router had been disconnected. Pissed, the suspect allegedly confronted the victim about the unplugged connection.

Due to that, the suspect took a gun and suddenly shot the youngster after a heated confrontation. According to the police investigation, the victim died on the spot following the shooting after earning a severe gunshot wound in his body, while the suspect fled.

The suspect turned out to be a former soldier, the police investigation added. The family of the victim refused to make a statement. The police are still investigating the shooting incident and still finding the whereabouts of the former soldier suspect after he escaped from his hideous crime.
