Kris Aquino interviewed Bongbong Marcos in 1995
The interview that Queen of all Media Kris Aquino did with former Senator Bongbong Marcos back in 1995 resurfaced after the latter’s guesting on Toni Gonzaga’s Toni Talks.
Toni has been featuring politicians on her YouTube channel and the one that she did with the son of former President Ferdinand Marcos became controversial as it did not sit well with groups and individuals criticizing the Martial Law and the Marcoses.
Because of this, netizens, especially those who are supporting the Marcoses, recalled the interview that Kris Aquino did with Bongbong Marcos. It was on the RPN show titled Actually Yun Na!
In the interview, shared on the bongbongmarcos2009 YouTube channel, Kris and Bongbong discussed topics about politics, Martial Law, and family. It is known to many that Kris is the daughter of former Senator Ninoy Aquino and former President Cory Aquino.
Her father was one of the critics of Marcos and her mother assumed the presidency after the People Power Revolution. It was a much-talked-about interview as an Aquino and a Marcos sat side by side talking about the past that involved them.
The YouTube video was posted 12 years ago but it can be noticed that several comments were posted just days ago. New views came from netizens who came to the said channel after watching the interview that Toni Gonzaga did with Bongbong Marcos. Here are some recent comments from netizens.
In an interview on Erwin Tulfo’s YouTube channel, BBM defended Toni against negative comments that she has been receiving after the trending Toni Talks episode.
The former presidential son said that it was the host’s prerogative to choose whoever she wants to be her guest. Bongbong Marcos also said that no one can dictate to him the personal experience that he had with his father as the questions of Toni tackled this part of his life.
