The video footage of a bicycle rider driving recklessly along a public road goes viral and elicits criticisms from the netizens.
Nowadays, the numbers of cyclists in the Philippines drastically increased during the coronavirus pandemic. Most of them prefer to use bike to reach their point of destination due to the lack of public transport vehicles.
Several cyclists are using their bicycles to travel and for leisure, which seems to be fine. Unfortunately, several bikers who were driving recklessly along the road without thinking the consequences of their actions.
The Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH CAMP Spotted” has shared the video footage of a reckless bicycle rider, which nearly causes an accident along the road. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the vehicles were moving at a moderate speed while a group of bikers are travelling beside the road. After a few moments, a cyclist suddenly moved into another lane.
The biker recklessly switched lane while showing off in front of a vehicle, which almost caused a vehicular accident. After showing off his bicycle skills, the cyclist immediately returned to his lane.
The reckless guy garnered criticisms and negative reactions from the online community. His actions might put other motorists in danger or would cause inconvenience towards other individuals.
The incident reportedly happened along C5 Diego Silang South Bound.
