Ex-child star Jiro Manio Gains Attention After He Showcased His Current Simple Life
EX-CHILD STAR JIRO MANIO – Former child actor Jiro Manio gained attention from the public anew after he shared a glimpse of his current simple life.
Jiro Manio entered the entertainment industry at the young age of seven. He rose to stardom after he starred in the 2003 drama film “Magnifico.” He also had the opportunity to work with popular stars Claudine Barretto and Vilma Santos in the classic movie “Anak.”
In 2015, the former actor was reported scavenging around Terminal-3 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). After news of his unpleasant situation went out, actress Aiai delas Alas swooped in to help him. The prominent actress helped Jiro funding his rehabilitation.
Last year, Jiro Manio was involved in a stabbing incident in Marikina City. The camp of the ex-child star claimed that it was the wounded man who started the trouble.
Last week, he was featured in the pilot episode of Star Image Digital Network’s “Take Two.” During the show, he talked about his simple life away from the limelight.
He was asked, “Kung bibigyan ka ulit ng pagkakataon umarte sa showbiz, handa ka na ba?”
To which the former actor responded, “Hindi ko muna masasagot ‘yan kasi busy ako sa simpleng buhay ngayon… Marami akong natutulungan sa simpleng paraan. Saka plano ko pa rin makapag-aral.”
Jiro Manio recently became viral on Facebook. He gained attention from the online community after he showcased his current simple life.
It could be seen in the video that he was having dinner with his friend. He greeted some of their viewers and gave shoutouts to his supporters.
“Magandang gabi po sa inyong lahat. Kain po tayo,” Jiro said.
