“Actually, narinig ko yun noon dati parang joke yun no na nag-diaper sila, pag-naiihi sila ayaw na nilang lumabas but it was not an instruction na mag-diaper kayo para magtipid ng PPE,” Aplicador said.

The hospital chief said that the institution has instructed the medical frontliners to replace the used Personal Protective Equipment every four to six hours. Health employees should also take a break after a couple of hours of work.

“We are only allowed to wear PPE for maximum of four hours yun ang advise naming sa kanila, actually six hours ang sabi but on the fourth hour kung talagang mahaba they to go out, they have to rest, they have to eat, hindi po totoo na hindi na sila lalabas para makatipid ng PPE,” the hospital chief said.
