Cop Previously Dismissed Over Drugs Turned Drug Trader in Quezon Province
A former cop who was dismissed after founding positive with drugs turned into a drug trader in Quezon province and was arrested during a buy-bust operation.
According to GMA News, members of the Mauban Municipal Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation against a former police officer from Mauban, Quezon province, which resulted in his detention. Lordson Custodio, 29, of Barangay Sadsaran, has been identified as the suspect.

According to the report, a police officer pretended to be the customer who transacted with the suspect, who is a renowned seller of illegal substances in the town. The poseur buyer met up with Custodio during the operation and provided him the marked money in return for illegal substances.
The former cop was instantly apprehended by authorities on standby when the deal was completed. Custodio was found with seven sachets of suspected illegal drugs called ‘shabu’ valued at P15,000, as well as the marked money.
Custodio has been missing from duty for a year, according to the Mauban Municipal police. Custodio tested positive in the obligatory drug test done at the time, the police report added.
Custodio is accused of breaking Republic Act 9165 by failing to make a statement. Custodio has been under surveillance for a long time, according to Mauban MPS Chief Police Captain Vanessa Sayson, after people complained about his illegal drug sales.
