Lovi Poe mentioned her Papa in her recent Instagram post
Actress-singer Lovi Poe dedicated her recent career move to her father Fernando Poe, Jr. who is considered one of the icons of the Philippine entertainment industry.
FPJ is tagged as The King and for her post announcing her move to ABS-CBN, Lovi was wearing a crown. For several months, speculations circulated about the network transfer of Lovi. From being a Kapuso for 15 years, she officially signed a contract with the Kapamilya network on September 16.
Prior to the announcement of her contract signing with ABS-CBN executives, Lovi Poe shared a post paying respect to her former home network. She thanked GMA for making her dream come true and the trust that the network has given to her.
The actress expressed how grateful she is for everything that the Kapuso network has done for her. After the official announcement of her network transfer, the singer-actress shared this post on her Instagram account with the caption, “Para sa ‘yo, Papa.” It also included red, green, blue heart emojis that symbolize the colors of the official logo of ABS-CBN.
Several netizens congratulated Lovi on this new journey in her showbiz career. Kapamilya stars welcomed her and expressed that they are happy for her. The boyfriend of the actress, Monty Blencowe commented with a crown emoji on her post.
Among the first projects that Lovi Poe is set to do as a Kapamilya is a TV series with A-list actor Piolo Pascual who also recently signed a contract again with ABS-CBN after his short stint on TV5. They will star in a teleserye that is based on the South Korean series titled Flower Of Evil.
