Lovi Poe said thank you to the Kapuso network
Actress-singer Lovi Poe shared her appreciation post for GMA-7 and netizens welcomed her as the newest Kapamilya.
For 15 years, Lovi has been under the management of the Kapuso network where she did various TV and movie projects. She is now known as one of the prominent actresses of her generation.
Rumors surfaced months ago that Lovi will be transferring to ABS-CBN. Her last show as a Kapuso was Owe My Love and it has ended last June 4, 2021. Lovi was asked several times about her rumored network transfer.
However, she said back then that she can’t say anything as negotiations were still going on. She did not reveal back then if what party she was having a negotiation with.
Just recently, ABS-CBN released a teaser saying that “a previous jewel finds a new home” with the hashtag “Just Love”. Based on the teaser, the announcement will happen on September 16.
On the same day, Lovi Poe shared this post on her social media account highlighting her expression of appreciation to the Kapuso network. The actress-singer said that 15 years in the network is not a joke and that she is saying thank you to GMA for “taking chances on this unknown dreamer”. She is also thankful for the support that she got from her home network for a decade and a half.
“I have utmost respect and gratitude to the network that has given me my roots and a heart full of memories,” Lovi Poe said. She is also grateful that GMA planted and nurtured her dreams. “Punong puno ng pagmamahal at pasasalamat,” she wrote.
