PAGASA Releases Latest Weather for Wednesday (September 15)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone would bring cloudy to rainy conditions over some parts of the country.

On Wednesday (September 15, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The Intertropical Convergence Zone would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA said that the ITCZ would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

The rest of Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands would also experience similar weather condition. Metro Manila and the rest of the country would have the same weather condition.

The ITCZ and the localized thunderstorms would bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over eastern Visayas.

The weather bureau warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

“Sa Luzon, kita po ang ating clear skies, associated po yan sa ridge o extension ng isang high pressure area sa may North Pacific Ocean,” senior weather specialist Benison Estareja said.

Generally, the entire archipelago would experience a fair weather condition with episodes of cloudy skies and scattered rain showers.

The weather agency also said that the coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao would be slight to moderate. No gale warning has been raised in various parts of the country.
