Among the most loved and most admired pairs in the show business industry is KathNiel – the collective name people fondly call real-life long-time couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. They started as a love team while they were still in their teenage years and their chemistry on-cam has bloomed to something real. Aside from being together as a love team for the longest time, they are also together as a couple in real life.
Kathryn said in a previous article that she is not in a rush to marry her boyfriend. Amid the pressure and high expectations from the people around them, they make sure that it will not affect them and their decisions for their future. They have their plans already and talking about that aspect but they still have other goals to achieve before jumping into that.
For now, they confessed that they’re starting to feel the pressure boiling up because of adulting. It’s not a quarter-life crisis for them but they are starting to realize and being aware now of their age. Being not getting any younger started to get into them. They are now thinking of what’s next for them and many things about their future.
And in a report from PEP, the couple shared that five years from now, they see themselves stable in all aspects – financially, emotionally, and others. As of now, they are taking things slowly at their own pace. They got a lot of plans and what Kathryn prioritizes now is the building of her family’s new home.
“I guess, I don’t know kung paano kami ni DJ nun in the next few years kasi hindi na kami bata nun. So ano lang, napag-uusapan siya, but ayaw namin siya masyado isipin kasi bahala na, go with the flow kami kung ano mangyayari. Basta handa kami kung ano man,” she said based on the report.
