Being eight years strong as a couple, people transitioned from asking if they’re together for real to when they are planning to get married. With their status and wealth, they are certainly able to take their relationship to another level but opted not to be in a rush.

They admitted of already talking about their dream wedding and DJ already has a target age to settle down but as of now, despite all the pressure and expectations from them they chose to follow their own plans.

Their close friends Pat Sugui and Aerial Garcia got engaged last month but for them, they have planned out their decisions already and if they will rattle things out, it would accordingly create a problem.

DJ explained, “So linalatag namin yung mga bagay na yun, pina-plano namin. This year 26 na ako. My God. Ganito na tayo bigla (laughs). Wala naman talagang pressure sa amin. Wala namang ganun. May sari-sarili tayong timing. May sari sarili tayong trip. Walang tama walang mali.”

Thinking that they still got a lot of time before getting married, Kathryn expressed amusement to the thought that they are now being asked about wedding and settling down. She also shared that what she learned from their show House Arrest of Us is that aside from both of them ready for it, their family must also be.

She quipped, “Baka mahimatay si mama and si tita Karla kapag sinurprise namin sila.”
