Daniel Padilla answers question about Kathryn Bernardo
Actor Daniel Padilla recalled in a recent interview the time when his girlfriend actress Kathryn Bernardo chose to forgive him.
Kathryn and Daniel, known as the popular KathNiel love team, have been together for 9 years. From being onscreen partners, romance bloomed between them in real life.
In the first episode of King of Talk Boy Abunda’s ‘Purple Chair Interview’ on his YouTube channel, his first guest was the Kun Maupay Man It Panahon actor.
During the interview, one of the questions that were asked to Daniel Padilla was how he deals with betrayal. He said that he can handle this kind of incident in his life as he also said that he can forgive if ever there is someone who will betray him.
For him, being left alone is even worse than betrayal in a relationship. “Maiwanan ka ng taong mahal mo pa at nagmamahalan kayo’t maunahan ka niya,” the actor said. Daniel also said that he understands that betrayal is part of life, love, and relationship.
He stressed how painful it is not to fix broken things because there is nothing left anymore. The actor said that in a relationship, he can forgive the other person who betrayed him because he believes that forgiving that person is also for himself.
Then, he recalled the incident in the past when Kathryn Bernardo forgave him. “That happened to me before, at si Kathryn pinatawad ako, di ba? Nagkamali ako before, di ba. I was a kid di ba, I was stupid di ba and still tinanggap niya ako, tinanggap niya ako ng buo,” Daniel Padilla said.
The actor also shared how the 9 years of being together made them grow as a person and as a couple. He also mentioned that they are already preparing for their future together as they know that a few years from now, they will settle down together and start their own family.
