Neil Arce defends wife Angel Locsin after receiving this insult from Undersecretary Mon Cualoping.
ANGEL LOCSIN – In an attempt to defend health workers, Angel Locsin, instead of earning praises, received insults from Mon Cualoping.
To pay tribute to his wife and literally mark her in him, Neil Arce got himself tattoed dedicated to his wife Angel Locsin. Being the husband of a real-life Darna, this is his first time to ever dedicate an ink for a woman and it would only be for his wife alone to honor her. He said based on a previous article, “For my wife. I will only do that for my wife syempre. I know I’ll be with her forever.”
He got wings inked on his chest which signifies the name of his wife, Angel, as she is a real “angel” to many people. To recall, the couple had a “simple pero rock” civil wedding ceremony held in Taguig last July. This is following some postponements of their big celebration and some major changes they went through because of the pandemic.
And getting himself inked to honor her is not the only thing he can do for. Recently, Angel made a tribute to all the health workers amid the rising COVID-19 cases in the country. It was a message of hope, love, support, and encouragement to them because they are our heroes. They are risking their lives in the middle of this pandemic to save the lives of other people.
However, her supposed message of encouragement to the medical frontliners was not well-received by Undersecretary Mon Cualoping. He said that the actress has either got “no brain cells” or “wrong appreciation of things”. In the post, Angel said that even in the absence of politicians, businessmen, and actors like her, the world can still work. But without the health workers, it can’t.
That was her realization amid the health crisis.
This was lambasted by the undersecretary. He believes that each profession plays a significant role in the ecosystem we live in where everything is linked and interconnected. He stressed, “We live in an ecosystem. Again, ecosystem. No brain cells at all.”
Neil retaliated and even challenged him to go face-to-face to him. He was angered by his foul attacks that criticized his wife personally. He wrote, “Mukhang sobrang tapang mo sa Facebook, Sir.”
