Ate Gay revealed the amounts of famous personalities like Vice Ganda have given him when he got hospitalized.
VICE GANDA – Famous comedian and impersonator, Ate Gay, ends buzz about those who helped him during his ordeal in the hospital.
Gil Morales or also known as the comedian and impersonator Ate Gay got hospitalized previously because of COVID-19. Apart from being infected by the coronavirus, he also got admitted because of toxic epidermal necrolysis and he was later on diagnosed with pneumonia and diabetes.
He previously created a loud buzz online after airing his sentiments against those who complain about the shortcomings of the present administration. He expressed unfriending his friends who are bashers of the government. It did not suit well to the people online, thus, he got lambasted. One netizen even said that he did not deserve the help he received from Vice Ganda during his hospital ordeal because of his post.

Ate Gay, on the other hand, clarified that his Php 600k hospital was shouldered by his sibling and pleaded not to make an issue dragging anyone into it. He appealed to not drag his friends. Also, just so to put rest to the issue, he laid down the names of the famous personalities who helped him financially and revealed how much they sent to him.
He wrote in a post: “Para matigil na ito .. eto mga nagbigay sa aking hindi ko hiningi … Paolo balesteros 30k beks batallion 30k calvin chua 20k vice ganda 20k ogie diaz10k ogie alcasid teri onor 10k sir jon 10k.. at ang kapatid ko 600k…”
Accordingly, the given amounts were used for his other necessities like rent and maintenance because she doesn’t have any work. Ate Gay added, “sana po wag nyo na kayong mandamay ng ibang tao .. nahihiya ako sa kanila …salamat”
