KISSES DELAVIN – Miss Universe Philippines candidate Kisses Delavin reveals the reason why she did not want to win in PBB.
The reality show aired by the Kapamilya network Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) was where actress and aspiring beauty queen Kisses Delavin was discovered. She joined in 2016 as one of the teen housemates and finished strong by landing second behind the eventual big winner Maymay Entrata.
Inside the PBB house, she is this cute and kikay teen housemate who can’t go out or do anything without picking up her brushes and applying colors to her face. She has her brush, powder, and mirror with her. She always wants to appear presentable and pleasing when facing other people. While inside the house, people can have already seen the beauty queen’s potential in her.
And just recently, in a sit-down interview with Boy Abunda, she opened up about what was inside her mind primarily before joining the reality show way back in 2016. Accordingly, when she was about to enter, her goal is not to win to be the big winner. She wanted the exposure and experience for her real goal – joining the entertainment industry.
She admitted that she never really wanted to win. This is just a secondary goal for her. She said, “I wanted really not to win PBB because I always thought that it would defeat the purpose. Because it’s a talent show and the winner has to have car or house and lot, and I didn’t really need that. I just want to go into showbiz.”
Meanwhile, Kisses is one of the official candidates of this year’s Miss Universe Philippines pageant. She is among the most familiar faces and holds a huge fan base that is supporting her in her pageant journey. She got herself included in the official Top 30 delegates of the local pageant bearing her hometown Masbate.
