2 Individuals Selling Fake Vax-Card, Negative Swab Test Results Nabbed in Quiapo

Manila Police District (MPD) Arrested two (2) individuals allegedly selling fake vax-card and negative swab test results in Quiapo, Manila.

Jimmy Santisima and Edito Parr were accused of creating and selling fraudulent vaccination cards and COVID-19 negative swab test results for consumers who did not want to go through the legal process. The two were apprehended by MPD operatives during a raid in Quiapo, Manila.

The operation was sparked by an intelligence report regarding a business in Quiapo, according to PNP chief General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar. During their investigation, agents from the Manila Police District revealed that the burglars were already employing templates.

According to the investigation, the phony swab test results templates came from San Lazaro Hospital, while the fraudulent immunization cards came from Pasay City. They are also accused of fabricating other documents like as birth certificates and marriage contracts since the MPD team discovered bogus dry seals of certain colleges and government bodies.

The accused were taken to MPD headquarters right away and are now facing the appropriate criminal charges. While the MPD continues to look for other unlawful activities perpetrators in the middle of the pandemic.

The MPD’s effective operation was commended by the PNP Chief. The RT-PCR is one of the documentation that local governments ask of visitors before they enter their jurisdiction.

Vaccination cards are required in some areas, but they can also be used to gain a discount at some businesses. The PNP Chief believes that the PNP’s robust effort will continue to target not only those who manufacture and sell false vaccination cards and RT-PCR but also those who buy and use them.
