Construction Worker, 2 Others Arrested Over Illegal Drugs, Firearms in Parañaque
Police authorities arrested a construction worker along with his 2 accomplices after being caught with illegal drugs worth P1.4 million and firearms.
According to an ABS-CBN news report, a Paranaque City source of illegal drugs known as “shabu” was detained in a buy-bust operation at a subdivision in Barangay San Antonio, where two of his coworkers were also apprehended. The Regional Drug Enforcement Unit of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) buys drugs under the nickname “Abel.”

The poseur buyer and the target alias “Abel” were dealing when RDEU personnel visited the property in Fourth Estate Area 7B. Based on the police report, during their transaction, he was discovered by the personnel to still be carrying a .45 caliber pistol.
The suspect’s partners in crime, alias “Rodrigo,” 21, and alias “Hopkins,” 18, were discovered in the drug session, according to the RDEU report. Six sachets of suspected shabu weighing more than 200 grams and priced at P1,428,000 were discovered by police.
Based on the report, Abel is a 29-year-old construction worker. After doing a test-buy on him, the cops immediately initiated the operation that resulted in his arrest.
He is a supplier of street-level pushers in the barangay, according to the police report. Abel is facing another charge of unlawful guns possession, in addition to selling, possessing, and using illicit substances or the Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
