Mel Senen Sarmiento, the former Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) secretary is rumored to be the new love of Kris Aquino following her intriguing sweet birthday post. He exposed himself to the public when he defended Kris against one commenter and expressed that there must be nothing wrong if she chose to greet him.

Moreover, it seems like she has this candid confirmation in the comments when she told the people that they don’t need to search who she was referring to in her posts because the man just borrowed her phone and fired back to a troll. She said, “No need to guess, scroll down, he borrowed my phone to reply to this weird troll.”
Kris revealed that the man was able to earn the approval of her sons, the approval that is the most important to her. And just recently, eagle-eyed netizens were quick to recognize something in the background of Sarmiento when he attended a Zoom meeting. His background looks very similar to the living room in the condo unit of Kris.
