Sabucido questioned Vellejos about his driving violation during the arrest. Vallejos, who had arrested him, became enraged and struck the rider, causing the phone to fracture and be damaged. The delivery worker questioned the road crew’s authorization to physically harm him.
After crossing into the pedestrian lane, the latter regretted his error and stated his desire to surrender to the police, but the woman appears to be abusing his rights. Sabucido was arrested following the event for allegedly disobeying uniformed authorities.
Vallejos, on the other hand, has been suspended for 15 days, beginning August 19, 2021, as a result of the tense road confrontation. Joannes “Joyjoy” Pepito Alegado, mayor of Consolacion, declared she will not get paid while she is suspended.
According to Alegado, following an examination and consultation, it was discovered that the traffic enforcer was also at fault. Apart from the ban, Alegado said Vallejos was also forced to pay a fine for not wearing a face mask. The fine is set at P1,000.
