A basic skin care tip is washing your face to keep yourself from facing common skin problems like acne and pimples. But for Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu, she does more than just washing to keep her face healthy and flawless. In her latest vlog, she shared some of her beauty secrets including the products she uses personally.
In her video, one of her tips is to put ice on your face to keep the pores closed. She herself said that this is an effective method and she does this every other day. Ice application on the face works for her and she thinks that it will work just the same for others.
Apart from her tips in taking care of one’s skin from the outside, one thing she also does to keep her skin healthy from the inside is drinking collagen. She sometimes drinks it with coffee or just simply drinks it as it is. She also avoids eating inflammation-causing foods, particularly those that are high in sodium.
However, she admits to liking salty foods. What she does since she cannot avoid eating it is drinking celery juice. She said, “Medyo mapait ‘yun pero nilalagyan ko siya ng red apples. So pampatanggal naman ‘yun ng inflammation. Or you can also drink ginger turmeric tea.”
Meanwhile, when it comes to bath essentials, the Its Showtime host expressed that she really loves body scrubs. She loves the Himalayan body scrubs because it accordingly helps her get rid of the negative vibes. She also uses sea salt scrub because it improves dry skin, takes out dead skin, and rejuvenates. A real workout junkie, she works out not only to have a healthy body but also to get rid of the toxins.
