Vilma Santos reveals what she discovers about Jessy Mendiola, her daughter-in-law.

JESSY MENDIOLA – Veteran actress Vilma Santos revealed how Jessy Mendiola is as a daughter-in-law and how she treats her son Luis Manzano.

Last February, celebrity couple Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano tied the knot at The Farm in San Benito in Lipa, Batangas. They made the announcement in April, nearly two months after their secret civil wedding. It was attended by their closest friends and family including Luis’ mother Batangas 6th District Rep. Vilma Santos, her husband, Senator Ralph Recto, and Luis’ father, actor Edu Manzano.

Jessy radiated simplicity and elegance during the wedding wearing a white pleated dress by Patricia Santos. Luis rocked a pink suit by Paulo Lazaro and the event was officiated by the city mayor, Eric Africa. The crying face of Luis during the wedding previously became a trending meme. To recall, they announced their engagement last December 2020 and they just recently celebrated their fifth year together as a couple.

And now, months after being married, Luis’ mother said something about her and what she can see in her as to how she is treating her son. In the latest vlog of Luis, Santos revealed how caring and hands-on she is when it comes to the needs of her son. She was accordingly the one who is always busy preparing something for him and she’s always supportive of her husband’s vlogging career.

She will be the one who will hold the camera for him and even prepare the equipment needed to shoot. The veteran actress shared, “Si Jessy po lahat gumagawa ng mga ilaw, siya ang nagka-camerawoman, siya lahat ang umiikot…”

Santos furthered impressed by what Jessy has been doing for her son, “Wow Jessy ha. Ang galing ah!”
