KAREN DAVILA – Watch Karen Davila’s hilarious reaction when she found out she shares the same birthday as singer Lyca Garainod.
Kristine Karen Lising Davila or better known as Karen Davila is a multi-awarded broadcast journalist. She has 27 years of tv and radio experience in the Philippines.
Today, the 50-year-old journalist can be seen on ANC’s Headstart. Last April, Karen decided to enter the world of vlogging with the launch of her own Youtube Channel.
In her previous IG post, Karen Davila said she’s looking forward to “learning new things” as he joins the video-sharing platform. She has already interviewed famous personalities like Francisco Isko Moreno Domagoso, Raffy Tulfo, John Lloyd Cruz, and Nadine Lustre.
‘The Voice Kids’ grand winner Lyca Garainod was recently featured on Karen’s Youtube channel. The singer narrated how hard and difficult life was before she won the competition.

During the interview, Lyca Garainod recalled how they would scour various areas to look for old newspapers and empty bottles. She then went on to say that even though their life was hard back then, she’d never lost hope that someday their fate will change.
The singer won a cash prize, a record deal with MCA Music Philippines, and a house and lot on The Voice Kids. In a previous article, Lyca revealed the reason why she decided to sell the house she won in the contest.
Lyca shared she and her family decided to buy a smaller one near where her grandmother lives. She said she’s also not used to living in a quiet village.
On Monday, August 16, Karen Davila and Lyca Garainod top the trending topics on Twitter after the wholesome exchange between the two went viral. The reaction of the journalist brought good vibes to the internet world after finding out she has the same birthday as Lyca.
