Joaquin Domagoso Speaks About Dad Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, Showbiz
JOAQUIN DOMAGOSO – The young Kapuso actor revealed the advice of his father, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, to him about showbiz.
Some young celebrities who are newbies in the Philippine showbiz industry are children of actors and actresses or former stars. One of them is young Kapuso actor Joaquin Domagoso.
Joaquin is one of the five (5) children of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and his non-showbiz wife, Diana Lynn Ditan. Their other children are Vincent Patrick, Frances Diane, Franco, and Drake Marcus. It was in 2020 when Joaquin started being more active in his showbiz career.
Currently, Joaquin is part of the Kapuso primetime TV series My First Yaya. He plays the character of “Jonas” whose love interest is the presidential daughter, Nina, played by Cassie Legaspi. A lot of people are hooked by the “CasQuin” love team.
Based on a report on Push, Joaquin Domagoso is also set to star a comedy film entitled Caught in the Act. It will be directed by Perry Escano. In his recent interview, the young Kapuso actor expressed that it is really his personality that made him want to enter showbiz and not just because he wanted to follow Mayor Isko Moreno‘s footsteps.
According to Joaquin Domagoso, he realized that his attitude who is really game when it comes to a lot of things fits in the industry and he also wants to be able to do a “performance art”. He also shared the advice of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno to him with regards to showbiz.
The young Kapuso actor expressed that the most important lesson that his father told him is to listen to the director and his older co-actors in the set. Based on the report, the Manila Mayor also expressed that “acting is reacting” and he can take it from the people he’s working with in the set.
With regards to entering politics like his father, Joaquin is not into it as of the moment but he is not closing his doors. For now, he is focusing in showbiz.
