PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Friday (August 13)

PH Weather Update – The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Philippines would experience generally fair weather condition.

On Friday (August 13, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The ridge of high pressure area would bring generally fair weather over the country.

The high-pressure area’s ridge would bring partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Luzon particularly in Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

The entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands would also experience similar weather conditions. Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country would have the same weather and possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms are expected.

The entire country is expected to experience a generally fair weather condition except for rain showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon over Visayas and Mindanao. PAGASA said that no weather disturbance is expected to break within the Philippine area of responsibility during the weekend.

The coastal water conditions over Luzon and the rest of the archipelago would be slight to moderate.

Meanwhile, the temperature could go up to 31 degrees Celsius in Laoag City, 32 degrees in Metro Manila and Puerto Princesa City, 33 degrees in Legazpi City and Tuguegarao City could have a temperature of up to 34 degrees.

32 degrees Celsius temperature are expected in Tacloban City, 33 degrees in Cebu City, 34 degrees Celsius are expected in Davao City and Zamboanga City.
