Kapuso Sunday musical variety show is set to feature Ed Sheeran
Internationally acclaimed singer Ed Sheeran will promote his new single ‘Bad Habits’ on GMA’s All-Out Sundays this coming weekend.
Since January last year, the Sunday musical variety show has been showcasing the talents of Kapuso artists. It has shown a wide range of talented individuals and groups.
Amid the pandemic, the show has continued providing entertainment to its viewers every weekend. This coming episode on Sunday, an international artist is set to grace the show.
Last Sunday, the show already teased about an artist known worldwide to have a guest appearance who is also tagged as the “most in-demand pop star on the planet.”
On August 11, the social media accounts of All-Out Sundays confirmed that Ed Sheeran is set to guest on the show to promote his new song.
Based on the article in PEP, last June 25, 2021, Kapuso entertainment reporter Nelson Canlas interviewed the international singer. Ed shared that his visit to the Philippines back in 2015 was a happy experience. “The first time I came to the Philippines and I’ve never ever felt that much love from a place ever,” the singer said.
He visited again the country in 2018. With this, several Pinoy fans of Ed expressed excitement for his upcoming stint on the variety show in the Philippines.
Meanwhile, in the Instagram post of Ed Sheeran on July 23, he shared the story of how Bad Habits was created. The singer said that he and two other musicians rented an old country house thinking that the change of environment would even help boost their creativity,
Ed said that his new single just came accidentally. “Bad habits came by accident and was such a fun tune to make. I didn’t know at the time it would end up as the first single from the album but here we are,” he said.
