Grade 10 Student Rescues Dog Trapped in Floodwater in Biñan, Laguna
BIÑAN, LAGUNA – A grade 10 students in Biñan, Laguna earned praises from netizens after saving a dog trapped in floodwaters.
The grade 10 student named Angelo Flores did not hesitate to save a dog trapped amid floodwater. The young man shows courage amid the calamity just to save the poor animal from danger.
Over the past few days, the enhanced southwest monsoon brought heavy and incessant rains over some parts of the country, which triggered massive flooding in various regions and provinces.
The town of Biñan in Laguna experience severe flooding due to the inclement weather condition. The river in the area overflowed due to the incessant rains and a helpless dog has been trapped amid flood.
Flores fearlessly went into the river to rescue the helpless dog. The young man carefully walked beside the river to reach the dog. He carefully grabbed the dog’s body and placed him into a safe place.
The Animal Kingdom Foundation has also described Angelo as a hero and the agency is hoping that a lot of people will be inspired with the guy’s action.

“Isang grade 10 student ang hinahangaan ngayon matapos niyang sagipin ang isang asong inanood noon sa isang ilog sa Biñan, Laguna.
Sa gitna ng masamang panahon noon, walang takot na sinuong ni Angelo Flores ang noo’y rumaragasang tubig sa ilog sa kanilang lugar.
Sa video, makikitang maingat siyang bumaybay sa gilid ng ilog hanggang sa maabot niya ang kinaroroonan ng aso.
