Homeless Man Receives New House From Heart Evangelista & Dog Rescue Group
HEART EVANGELISTA – Heart Evangelista proved that she is truly a person with a big heart as she gave a homeless person a new house just weeks after she met him.
The 34-year-old celebrity frequently shares pictures of herself on her social media accounts. Some of her photos went viral on social media like her OOTD to buy corned beef and a photo of her mopping the floor wearing a vintage dress.
Heart met Kuya Jun back on November 18 along Gilmore Avenue in Quezon City. He was spotted eating with some dogs in front of a closed establishment as Heart was looking for her dog, Casper, who went missing.
Heart Evangelista was sat on the steps wearing an all-white dress with Kuya and his dogs. She told her followers to say “hello” to the homeless man in case they pass by the area. The actress was obviously touched by the kindness and selflessness of Kuya Jun.
Because of the kindness showed by Kuya Jun, Heart partnered with PAWSsion Project to give him and his friends their own home. According to an article from Inquirer, PAWSsion Project is a Bacolod-based non-profit that rescues and rehabilitates dogs.
With their help, Kuya Jun was given his very own Bahay-Kubo. Very fitting for an act of Bayanihan that transcends species.
Kuya Jun couldn’t contain his happiness when he saw his new home. Heart even took the time to spend moments with Kuya Jun and his dogs.
The rescue group shared Kuya Jun’s surprise on their social media. He was also given some home appliances and other essentials.
Today was totally a happy, emotional, heartwarming and life changing day as we officially welcomed Kuya Jun and his dogs to the shelter. HOMELESS NO MORE! ❤️😭
