Ate Shawee, the impersonator of Sharon Cuneta, dies due to liver complications.
SHARON CUNETA – Marvin Martinez a.k.a Ate Shawee died due to liver cirrhosis at the age of 45 and he’s another comedian who passed away during this pandemic.
In a previous article, “Ate Shawie”, the impersonator of Megastar Sharon Cuneta, called out some financial help online to live longer as he was suffering from complications in the liver. In his posts, he sounded hopeless to live anymore. And a piece of sad news has emerged online last July 26.
Some of the close friends of the famous comedian revealed that he already died at the age of 45 and due to liver cirrhosis. Several of his friends reached out to his family and expressed their condolences. Celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Librato Toledo of Toledo Medical Clinic was among those who were saddened over sad news and he was also among those who actively helped Ate Shawee while he was still alive.
Ate Shawee is another comedian who passed away amid the pandemic. To recall, comedians like Babajie (May 4, 2020), Kim Idol (July 13, 2020), Le Chazz (May 1, 2021), Shalala (June 23, 2021), and Hans Mortel (July 14, 2021) all died in the middle of the pandemic.
Rafaela de Jesus, Ate Shawee’s niece, confirmed the news to PEP and now asking for financial help for the late comedian’s wake. She said, “Pinag-iisipan pa po namin kung sa barangay hall o sa Dulce Funeral Homes siya ibuburol kasi po wala na po talaga kaming pambayad na pera. Sana po, makalikom kami ng pera para pambayad sa Dulce. Sana, may mga tumulong po para mabigyan siya ng maayos na burol hanggang sa huli.”
