Former Co-Host Hans Mortel Went Viral Over His Last Post Before Passing Away

HANS MORTEL – The former Face-to-Face co-host’s last post on Facebook before passing away resurfaced and went viral on social media.

Hans Mortel was making sure that his fans were aware of his health situation by using Facebook to upload a photo or a brief note about his condition. The comedian, though, died of pneumonia on July 14 after three months of fighting the illness.

His death was revealed by his sister on Facebook. Hans battled his condition in the hospital for three months, according to Jean Mortel Chupungco. But the medication was no longer working for him.

She wrote: “Gone too soon! You fought a hard battle. Thank you for giving it your all. I know you tried so hard for us. It’s ok, you fought for 3 months. We fought the battle with you.”

“And now you can rest in peace. I will be comforted by the thought that you’re with Papa and Mama Azon now. And you’re face to face with our Lord. It hurts so bad, to let you go, but you deserve to rest. Know that we love you and we always will,” she added.

Amy Perez, her co-host and friend, who she worked with on a TV5 show, left him a message. Amy thanked Hans for all of their memories as the show’s co-hosts. She also shared images of the late Hans, particularly from when they were co-hosting shows together.
