Alessandra de Rossi Hospitalized for 3 Times After Taping With “My Amanda”
ALESSANDRA DE ROSSI – “My Amanda” leading lady hospitalized three times allegedly due to stress after they finish the taping of their movie.
During a live interview with MJ Marfori, Alessandra and Piolo Pascual revealed that the actress had been hospitalized following their nine-day taping in La Union. Alex’s first directing work was “My Amanda.”
“May 9 days kami sa La Union pag-uwi namin, tatlong beses akong na-ospital, dalawang na-confine tapos isang emergency room pero walang makita, stress lang daw, I guess dahil sa 9 days na ‘yun na siyempre ngayon mo lang nae-experience for the first time lahat, eh,” Alessandra said.

Piolo claims that Alessandra used “several personalities” in the making of the picture. Because it was her first time writing, directing, and acting in a film she co-produced with her sister Alessandra, brother-in-law Jules Ledesma, and friends, De Rossi said she gave it her all.
Piolo made some sacrifices for the film as well. For one thing, he received six ear piercings expressly for the movie, which ruined his ear cartilage. He did it to be as close to his character TJ’s ear piercings and tattoos as possible.
Meanwhile, Piolo and Alex’s film is the most popular on Netflix not only in the Philippines, but also in Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, the top ten in Saudi Arabia, and trending in Canada. They were also invited to direct “My Amanda,” which she penned herself, according to the actress.
However, there are differences in how the film is treated. According to Alex, he does not want anything changed in the script; he wants it as is, with no additions or subtractions. As a result, she opted to direct it herself, which her co-stars approved of.
