UP Student Sachika Azumi Saguisa Gets GWA of 1.00 & Earns Praises From Netizens
The UP student Sachika Azumi Saguisa goes viral online after getting an outstanding GWA of 1.00 for academic year 2020-2021.
A Facebook user named Sachika Azumi Saguisa has shared the photos of her GWA of 1.00 or flat uno. The post spread like a wildfire online and caught the attention of the online community.
Saguisa who is a chemical engineering major at the University of the Philippines Diliman got 1.00 in all of her subjects. She graduated with Highest Honors from CARAGA Regional Science High School taking both STEM and ABM strand.
The lady student failed to complete her units in ABM, which leads her to pursue BS Chemical Engineering in UP Diliman. The young lady also struggled before entering college amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“To be honest, I didn’t expect it at all, but I was hopeful. I felt like I had a chance kasi alam ko naman how hard I worked for those grades,” Saguisa said.
Sachika’s organization Gabay Isko has posted the list of the University Scholars for the academic year together with their grades. She has been also dubbed as “St. Sachika” by her fellow students due to her achievement.
