Police Authorities Arrest Criminology Student for Snatching Wallet & Cellphone from Lady Victim in Tondo, Manila

A criminology student has been arrested by the police authorities after snatching wallet and cellphone from a lady victim.

Don Bosco PCP arrested a 25-year-old criminology student after snatching a wallet and mobile phone amounting P100, 000 from his lady victim in Tondo, Manila. The suspect is driving a motorcycle when snatched the valuables of a female passenger at a tricycle.

The woman is supposed to deposit the money to the bank but got shocked due to the incident. The authorities were able to trace and identify the suspect with the help of CCTV camera in the area.

The suspect commits multiple violations including traffic offernse for not wearing a crash helmet, possession of deadly weapons and robbery. The culprit has been identified as JV Jimenez.

Jimenez explained that he is jobless and stopped from school due to poverty. He admitted his crime and explained that poverty pushed him to commit crime. The cops recovered the mobile phone although it is broken but they failed to recover the cash.

The lady victim said that she could withdraw the criminal charges against the suspect if his family could return the cash.
