Here’s the reaction of Andoy Ranay to Jaclyn Jose’s recent post
Following the controversial “basura” statement of Kapamilya director Andoy Ranay, veteran actress Jaclyn Jose, who is now in the Kapuso network, shared a post that appeared to be her reaction to this.
During the press conference for the new Kapamilya series La Vida Lena, Direk Andoy had this statement: “Aanhin mo ang franchise kung basura naman ang trabaho.”
Kapuso writer Suzette Doctolero slammed this and defended the projects that the GMA network has produced over the years. Although Direk Andoy did not mention any network in his statement, apparently, Jaclyn Jose also had the same thought as the Kapuso writer.
The Kapuso veteran actress said that everyone in the production is doing their best to fulfill their duties as they are expecting to give what is best for their audience.
Her Instagram post also included this line: “Kahit ano pagod ginagawa namin makapgbigay ng maganda programa na hindi ( BASURA).” She featured an art card with this statement: “I don’t fear the enemy who may attack me, I fear the fake friend who will still hug me.”
PEP entertainment columnist Noel Ferrer asked Andoy Ranay regarding the context of his statement that went controversial. The director said that it was his answer to the question about what he feels that it has been a year since the franchise of ABS-CBN was denied.
The Kapamilya has no reaction to the three-part Facebook post of Suzette Doctolero about this issue but he left a short message for Jaclyn Jose. “Kumare ko si Jane, and she should know me better,” Direk Andoy Ranay said.
