Robin Padilla opens up about his current relationship status with his sibling BB Gandanghari
Action star Robin Padilla reacted to the controversial revelations of his sibling BB Gandanghari through her YouTube channel.
Through her vlog, BB made revelations about her family and past relationship. The transwoman threw fierce words against Robin and his wife Mariel Padilla. BB accused them of neglecting her.
In a recent interview on Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel, the action star was asked about the current status of his relationship with his sibling who was formerly known as Rustom Padilla.
Robin Padilla said that his relationship with BB Gandanghari is getting better now. “Bumabalik na sa dati kasi medyo maraming paandar si BB na nagulat kaming lahat eh,” he said. The action star added that it got better when their brother Royette Padilla died. They were able to talk because of what happened.
Robin also explained why BB felt that they neglected her. “’Ang pinili mong landas, kahit sino sa amin hindi naming ‘yan, hindi kami makaka-identify d’yan,” he said on BB’s transformation. He added that they thought BB was already happy when she finally revealed her gender identity.
“Kahit sino sa amin hindi naman iisipan na may pinagdadaanan kami,” Robin said about BB’s social media post showing that she is happy.
Robin said that they thought their sibling was already satisfied when she decided to go on to the path that she chose. Explaining that the whole process of transformation was very new to them, the actor said that it took them time to digest the idea.
When asked about the other revelations of BB Gandanghari when it comes to her career and love life, Robin Padilla said although he does not understand everything that his sibling said he respects that because it is her life.
However, the action star said that he just feels a little ashamed towards those who were mentioned by BB in her revelations.
