Iza Calzado Shares Reason Why She’s Staying With ABS-CBN

This is why Iza Calzado is not switching networks almost one year after ABS-CBN lost its franchise.

IZA CALZADO – Kapamilya actress Iza Calzado promises to stay with ABS-CBN and here’s the reason why she’s staying after almost a year now without a franchise.

Last year, July 10, the ABS-CBN network, the biggest network in the Philippines, has officially lost its franchise to operate after receiving the majority of votes from lawmakers who agreed not to renew it. Many were heartbroken and it has been almost a year already since this happened. A lot of things have happened and a lot of stars from the Kapamilya network jumped to another network.

However, many may have jumped off the boat but there were a lot who also stayed. Big stars like Kim Chiu, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Enrique Gil, Liza Soberano, Toni Gonzaga, and many more decided to stay. As per them, this is the time that they can show their network how grateful they are for its graciousness to give them opportunities and be the stars that they are now.

And one of those who showed love and stayed is Iza Calzado. It has been almost a year since they lost their franchise and she stayed. For her, to stay there is because that is where God has put her to be. She expressed, “You know, at this particular point in my life, I’m not looking for change. I’m not looking to shake things up in my life.”

She’s now at peace and she can see that she’s growing through the projects given to her and from the other facets of her life. She saw how the network stood for her and such has made her respect them even more. She wanna be there in this tough time.

“So, para sa akin lang, this is where God put me and my intuition says… stay here. It might not be the same for other, so this is my reality, and this is where I’m at. I’m very proud to be still a Kapamilya,” she added as per PEP.
