Singer Gigi De Lana Wants to Collaborate with Her Idol Rapper Gloc-9
The phenomenal vocalist Gigi De Lana has expressed interest to collaborate with her idol the award-winning Filipino rapper Gloc-9.
Mary Gidget Dela Llana or popularly known as Gigi De Lana was officially welcomed into the Star Magic family last month. She competed in the Tawag ng Tanghalan in 2016, but was unsuccessful in winning the competition.
She was recently invited to perform on ASAP, and she had the opportunity to meet one of her singing idols in person. Gigi has lately taken the internet by storm after she posted a video of herself and her band covering several well-known songs on her social media account.

The 25-year-old singer has been enthralling her devoted fans with her GG Vibes band’s live jamming sessions and song covers, which can be seen on her official Facebook page and YouTube channel. And her performances have consistently racked up millions of views!
Gigi De Lana also mentioned that one of her inspirations, rapper Aristotle Pollisco, popularly known as Gloc-9, was someone she wanted to collaborate with. “Gusto kong mag-venture sa iba pang genres. Actually depende rin siya sa projects and siyempre yung future compositions ko at saka ng banda ko,” she said.
“Tapos gusto kong maka jamming sa totoo lang si Gloc-9 kasi sobrang galing niya mag-conceptualize ng music and ng mga words niya. And at the same time yung lyrics niya kasi eh nakakadala,” Gigi De Lana continued.
Gigi Vibes’ repertoire includes mostly ballads and pop songs, although she claimed the collaboration she’d most like to make someday is with Pinoy rapper and his song “Upuan.” Meron akong gustong i-cover na kanta niya. Gusto ko yun. gusto ko siya i-cover,” added.
