Here are the reactions of netizens to the GMA Pinoy TV’s announcement about Sarah Geronimo
GMA Pinoy TV recently announced that it will be airing the Tala concert of Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and this received various reactions from netizens.
After winning the singing contest Star For A Night that was aired on IBC, Sarah signed a contract with ABS-CBN. For almost two decades, she was seen performing in the Kapamilya network.
However, just recently, following the confirmation about the network transfer of A-list actor to the Kapuso network, GMA Pinoy TV posted this announcement on Twitter.
“Kapuso abroad, a star will land this July on GMA Pinoy TV! Watch @JustSarahG’s “Tala:The Film Concert” this July 18!” the caption of the post stated and included the concert poster.
This garnered various reactions from the online community. There were those netizens who criticized Sarah Geronimo while some allegedly said that the concert was a flop and so Viva had to offer this to GMA to earn more.
On the other hand, the avid fans of the Popstar Royalty or the Popsters come to the rescue. They defended the singer-actress and showed their proof that her virtual concert was a big hit. Here are some of the tweets about this.
Meanwhile, just recently, Sarah Geronimo became a trending topic on social media. It is because she showcased her pixie cut hairstyle that brought a surprise to many celebrities and showbiz enthusiasts. However, some speculations surfaced that her decision to cut her long hair might have a meaning which she is not revealing yet.
