Gesu Church in Ateneo Prepares for NoyNoy Aquino’s Funeral Mass
The Gesu Church at Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City prepares for the funeral mass of NoyNoy Aquino.
On Saturday (June 26, 2021), the Gesu Church of AdMU is already preparing for the funeral mass of the former president. The church prepared the barricades and entries after PNoy’s urn has been transferred to Aquino family’s residence.
NoyNoy’s urn is expected to be return to the church around 10:00 am for the funeral mass. Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas will be the one to conduct the mass. The mass would be in private and not available for public viewing.
The funeral mass is only exclusive for the family and friends of the deceased politician. The netizens could watch the mass at the Facebook page of Ateneo de Manila University. Aquino’s will be laid at his final resting place at 3:00 pm.
After the mass at Gesu Church of AdMU, Aquino’s urn will be brought to Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque for its inurnment next to his parents; late senator Benigno Aquino Jr. and late president Corazon Aquino.

The Filipino people would bid their final goodbye to PNoy who served as the 15th Philippine president. The public will be allowed to pay their final respects along the convoy’s route. The authorities advised the public to strictly obey the health protocols.
