BAM AQUINO – The former Senator regrets not being able to visit former Pres. Noynoy Aquino last Monday, June 20, 2021.

Countless hearts were left broken by the sudden passing of former Pres. Noynoy Aquino. Last June 24, 2021, the former President was rushed to Capitol Medical Center. The report about him abruptly gathered the family, friends, and supporters at the hospital.

Shortly after reports about the former President being rushed to the hospital crossed the surface, he was reported to have passed away. It left countless hearts shocked and in grief. Most people were not aware that he was actually suffering from a failing health condition in the past months.

According to his sisters, PNoy was already in and out of the hospital even before the COVID-19 pandemic started. But his death is really a shock even to his family.

One of those who grieve over the death of former Pres. Noynoy Aquino is his cousin, former Sen. Bam Aquino. He regrets not being able to visit the former President last Monday.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Sen. Bam Aquino said that he and former Pres. Noynoy Aquino had a text conversation last Sunday. He knew that the former Chief Executive was going through something serious and he asked PNoy if he could visit him.

“Tapos sabi niya ‘sige’ sabi ko next time kapag bumisita si Miguel, ang isang pamangkin niya, sama na ako,” he said.

Former Sen. Bam Aquino admitted that he regrets not going to former Pres. Noynoy Aquino right away. According to him, he could have insisted to visit him last Monday.

For the former Senator, PNoy is like an older brother that he can have a debate with about politics. The former Chief Executive left him a lot of lessons. Currently, the country is a 10-day mourning period over the death of the former President. He died of renal disease secondary to diabetes.
