Former Baker Earns Praises Online For Selling Unique Moneybox After His Bakery Went Bankrupt

A former baker identified as Leandro Fabra goes viral and earns praises from netizens after selling unique moneybox on social media.

The 50-year-old Leandro Fabra who is a former baker stopped from baking and selling bread since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. He stopped his bakery due to the decreasing demand for breads.

The entrepreneur explained that most of their customers were vendors at school canteens but the health crisis prompted schools and universities to shutdown to ensure the safety of students.

After his bakery went bankrupt, Leandro decided to create unique designs of moneyboxes or “Alkansya”. Fabra made wonderful moneyboxes out of high quality materials to satisfy his customers.

Initially, the former baker thought that his no one would like his products but he was surprised after a lot of netizens loved his artwork after posting it on social media. Tatay Leandro could just make a single moneybox per day.

“Noong una akala ko di ako kikita, pero nang i-post sa social media ng asawa ko marami ang nagandahan at bumili. Mahirap gawin kasi sa isang araw, isa lang nagagawa ko pero kailangan magtiyaga,” the baker said.
