2 Young Vendors Arrested During Oplan Sita in Nueva Ecija Over Fake Cigarettes
Authorities arrested two (2) young vendors during their “Oplan Sita” operation after they were caught possessing several fake cigarettes.
The two male vendors were apprehended after being caught with fake cigarettes during the Oplan Sita operation in this town’s Barangay Belen. Adrian Joseph, 24, and Robert Garcia, 23, both young guys from Barangay San Pascual, Talavera, Nueva Ecija, were detained.
According to P/Captain Shariel Paulino’s police chief report, two vendor suspects were apprehended while riding a tricycle without a license plate. As a result, they were stopped and the contents of the box they were carrying were taken by the police.
