VICE GANDA – Superstar Vice Ganda opens up about his emotional suffering behind the funny and comical banters he makes in his shows.
Aside from the emotional and mental turmoil of the pandemic, the shut down of ABS-CBN has also taken its toll on Vice Ganda, the superstar of the Kapamilya channel. The superstar admitted that the reason why he is thriving on several of his projects now is to prove that despite the lack of franchise, they are still rising above.
But during his interview in the latest video of Ogie Diaz, he went emotional as he opened up about the things that are making him sad now. In Showtime, he shared that he has his fair share of struggles because he is not only a host in the show but he is also a part of the creative and production.
There are those things that needed his approval and he seems tireless of doing all of it in a single day. Even at his house, he shared that he is still working non-stop. He studies the life and profile of the contestants because he wants to make sure that he will carry the show and create material to put to their other platforms.
The lack of audience clapping for him has greatly affected him and also the lack of getting along with other people from various walks of life. He used to interact with various people before and that is where he gets to learn and hone his talent to make people laugh. He gets his experiences from the street but because of the pandemic, he lost it all and his world seemingly became smaller.
In his new program, he shared that during the first taping, he did not like his first performance. He pled not to show it and did better the following shooting. It was then he realized that one factor that boosts up his self and causing him happiness is his looks. He wore different outfits and sported various looks and the outcome, for him, was great just because he likes what he sees in the mirror.
“Ang saya ko kasi feeling ko kanina ang ganda ko. Tumaas yung energy ko kaya ang galing ko kanina. So, kaya bago ako matulog kagabi, sabi ko, ‘Bukas gusto ko maganda ako. Para masaya ako. Para magaling ako’. Kaya tinawagan ko yung stylist ko, Kim Kardashian ako bukas ha,” he shared.
