SARAH GERONIMO – Kapamilya singer Sarah Geronimo posted a mouth-watering photo collage following the Jollibee’s much-talked-about controversy on “fried towel”

To recall, a Facebook user named Angelique Perez buzzed the online community after she shared pictures and videos of the Jollibee fried chicken she ordered online. In the caption, she claimed that she received a deep-fried blue towel coated in a breading mix.

The popular fast-food chain immediately acted on the issue and ordered a three-day shutdown on their BGC branch. The firm said they will review the branch’s compliance with procedures and retrain its staff to ensure that it will not happen again.

On Thursday, June 10, the fast-food chain released a video thanking its fans for the love they received over the years. At the end of the video, they said they will strive to serve them even better.

While Jollibee has yet to confirm how the ‘fried towel’ ended up being delivered, netizens and celebrities air their support amid the controversy. Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach took to her Instagram account to air her support on the fast-food chain.

The beauty queen uploaded a photo of her when she was a young girl with the official mascot of Jollibee. The photo was taken during her birthday party in Cagayan de Oro.

Recently, Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo took to social media to pen her touching message to the fast-food chain amid its issue. She also uploaded a cheerful photo of her taken while she’s having her Jollibee meal.
