A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz has this answer when he was asked by veteran host Willie Revillame if he is ready to love again.
Lloydie is one of the matinee idols in the entertainment industry and his fandom is overwhelmingly huge. Despite his so-called “showbiz hiatus” which for him is not really a break from the entertainment industry.
For him, it was a way of seeing things in a clearer perspective and he said he had so many life realizations because of that. Now, he is officially back and his first TV appearance was with Kuya Wil for the Shopee’s Mid-Year Sale TV Special that was aired on GMA-7.
John Lloyd Cruz is now under the talent management firm of Maja Salvador, Crown Artist Management. The actress-dancer was also present at the said event.
During the show, the veteran host asked the A-list actor if he is now ready to open his heart to a new relationship. To recall, in 2017, when he took his showbiz break, Lloydie’s love life with Ellen Adarna bloomed.
Their relationship at that time was blessed with a son who they named Elias Modesto after the late father of the actress. However, after more than a year of being together, they confirmed that they ended their relationship but remained they remained civil with each other. Now, Ellen is engaged with Kapuso hunk actor Derek Ramsay who was formerly in a relationship with Andrea Torres.
Asking about John Lloyd Cruz‘s readiness to be in love again, based on the article in gmanetwork.com, Willie Revillame had this question: “Ikaw ba, handa ka na bang umibig ulit?”
The A-list actor replied: “Handang handa na!” Kuya Wil also revealed during the show that he will be doing a new primetime show with Lloydie.
“Abangan niyo ho, abangan niyo magsasama kami ni Lloydie magbibigay saya sa inyo sa isang primetime show. Abangan niyo ho ‘yan dito sa GMA-7,” the veteran host revealed.
